Introduction

- interview will take about one hour (recording, video clip, public summaries)
- the research material is confidential and for researchers only, but some extracts will be published with permission of interviewee
- the main goal of the interview is to find potential partners for case studies, but something may be published scientifically as well.
Theme 1: Community
- What is the goal of the community?
- How was it born?
- What kind of people participate in it? How many are you?
- What are the main activities?
- What kind of communication channels are needed and for which purposes?
- Are there any similar communities (that you collaborate with)?
- Do you collaborate with any Finnish communities or organizations? Which?
Theme 2: Interaction with the state and the city – state of the art and wishes
- How do you identify yourself as a part of Finnish society (citizen, inhabitant of the home city)?
- In which situations immigrants (you) are in contact with the public sector (state, city) in Finland?
- What kind of interaction with the public sector (state, city) immigrants (you) need and want?
- Immigrants as citizens - state of the art: do you participate in politics or some other decision making / civic activities?
- Are there any practices or processes to be in contact with the public sector?
- What are the channels and or tools?
- What kind of problems and challenges do you see in the communication?
- What kind of interests do you have towards the public sector?

- What kind of (open) information would be needed for better communication / collaboration with the public sector?
